Research

  • Cells, tissues, and organs in our body are exposed to various types of external stimuli coming from the microenvironment.

  • We develop bio-hybrid devices that mimic the tissue microenvironment by interweaving biological and functional materials using microfabrication and 3D printing technologies.

  • With our devices, we can understand biological responses under physiological or pathological conditions, and regenerate/restore damaged function of cells, tissues or organs.
